I was thinking about this run of Presidents we're on.

I try to not let it discourage me from participation in the democratic process, but I definitely have not felt real good about it in quite a while.

President Biden may be the most incompetent President in the country's history.
President Trump may have been the most significantly impactful in a negative way of any President in history.
President Obama may have been the most ideologically diverse from me personally of any President in history.

President Bush certainly had problems and I know is deeply unpopular with many people, but I don't really have such a negative category to put him in. I think he was and is a good man who did his best. And I did vote for him (the last time I cast a ballot for anyone who became President, in a primary or general election)

War criminal not enough? Attacking the wrong country after 9/11 and falsely claming weapons of mass destruction?

How you can call Biden less competent than a legitimate moron like Bush I'll never know.

Bush could fly a jet; Biden can’t walk up the stairs to a jet***

I agree. I’m not a Clemson grad. You can probably tell from my user name which schools I graduated from. But I’ve lived in the Clemson area for 35 years now. Most of my friends and many family members are Clemson grads. They are all great people and very intelligent. I assure you they are nothing like a few on this board. They actually have the capacity for reasoning.

America is in trouble because I called out Bush? Ok…

No, because people like you think any president in history can be more of a disaster than Biden.

Bush's legacy

I agree that's a part of his legacy, and a bad part.

But I do think he got bad information, and bad counsel.

his style. I didn’t agree with a lot of his policies, but he was a true Statesman. I think he had some very bad optics at times, but I would take him again at any moment.

Dubya was well-intentioned and smarter than people gave him credit for being.

But two unbudgeted wars, the Patriot Act, and leaving office with the economy tanking makes him a pretty bad POTUS in my book. When you are President, "getting bad advice" is no excuse. Don't get me wrong, Congress went along with it all. But I don't think we'd have entered two wars if someone else was in office.

I think the historical assessment of GWB will remain fairly unkind because, like it or not, his administration did lasting damage to the country.
