... and as of now, it's projected to skip over Orlando, turn back inward just north of Jacksonville and straight up toward Columbia, SC by next Friday/Saturday.

European model and GFS are in big disagreement right now. GFS has it going to the central to western gulf and the Euro has it coming right over my little town in coastal SC - so somewhere in the middle? Marine one, you are probably right!

Yeah they are. Just too far away for now. Not only path wise, but timing as well. Yeah, atmospheric outlook very favorable and Gulf temps are outrageous. We'll know more over the weekend what kind of steering currents come into play.

Ok. NHC has it as an unnamed tropical depression right now, headed toward the Yucatan peninsula. So, right now not looking all that dangerous for the U.S., unless your website is the correct prediction. Funny how they are so different. We'll see.

Without getting too technical, Hermine-wannabe's path is still up in the air -- literally. Long-range modeling can't figure out what to do with a couple of key players.
I will say, though, IF the Euro (the model you're referencing) verifies, there will be a LOT of prep games rescheduled across the eastern Carolinas. Looks a bit breezy next Friday!
