Surprised UK carbon is that low, 0.9%.
All of EU and Russia doesn’t add up to USA.

Trees are probably one of the least significant factors on carbon numbers. The most important might be population/sq mile, economic conditions and developmental conditions. Would we think that NYC or LA is comparable to say Greenville or Spartanburg?

I'd say one could use stats to claim virtue for most any nation other than China and India which suggest that population is the most significant factor.

More people equals less trees but it's not the lack of trees it's the increased number of carbon producers. Chicken or egg?
