I see them call traveling on ONE step when a player starts a move. Just a quick minute shuffle sometimes, and it gives the player no advantage anyway. No rhyme or reason there. In this case, the Maryland player took a very generous ("Australian Crawl" step - what we used to call it down under) that gave him tremendous extra advantage. Clearly a travel.

Same principle actually applies when a player falls to the ground with the ball. They finally realized that it's not his fault that he's on the ground. As long as doesn't try to advance and roll over, he's OK.

That used to be a travel I know that. 2 steps was travel and that was 3.
