Ha ha! We never did that. There were too many cigarette butts and broken glass. We’d check out our tans on Bowman. There were fringe benefits anyway!

Remember walking by as a youngster and seeing the party on the ledges. By the time I stayed in Johnstone E6 in 1985-86, the windows were changed to only open a little with stops. You couldn't get out of them anymore. I guess to many drunks had fallen over the years.

Used to go through the “cans” with my red wagon collecting bottles in the early ‘60’s. Got $.02 cents a bottle from the beer joint that preceeded The Study Hall. Good money at the time.

Saw a Buffet concert in Tillman through an open window sitting on the ledge on The seventh floor in A section. A well stocked cooler kept me company.

Yep. We had a TV antenna rigged up in a tree right beside those "ledges." Worked great while there were leaves in the trees. But when winter came it stood out like a sore thumb and we had to dismantle it.

when the RA came knocking after hours. We know the idjit would have written us up if he could find them, 'I smell perfume", I believe he said. I told him it was mine, got uncomfortably close and put my hand on his shoulder. He did not pursue the matter further.
eventually, I got kicked off campus. "Sorry mom, I have to get an apartment from this point forward." Unfortunately, that also meant a job.  But the apartment was more fun and I worked a car out of the deal because I needed to get to my job.
