the season. Giving that much effort and still coming up just short is about as demoralizing as it gets in sports. Very hard for a coaching staff to overcome. It will be somewhat interesting to see what their response to their own near miss will be.

Past history with NC State and Louisville would suggest there is some truth here.

Go pack 5-8 years ago and look at our games with them, and then look at their performances the next 2 weeks. They lost more than they won to teams they should have beat after playing us really close.
