How many opt-outs?

If we should make bowl. I would guess 8 to 10 possible starters. How many would you guess?
Great chance to see younger guys play, but would be a different team.

Antonio Williams will definitely be opting out.
I would guess maybe three or four tops. But definitely Williams.

If it's just your avg bowl game they'll be a few. I'd expect at least the 3 1st rd projections in Parker, Woods, and Terrell.

Surely you mean preseason projections, because nobody is ranking them in the first anymore

Since players are now being paid if they opt out of a BG or CFP game there should be financial penalties they go as far back as into at least the last 2 to 3 games of the season.
Players demanded pay for play so play or suffer financial consequences. We provide the coaching, strength training, a weight room, a putt putt coarse, 2 lane bowling lanes, special dietary plans for each player, clothing and other perks they receive as athletes.
So if schools, the fans and those funding the BG’s want attendance, then players should be play or forfeit some of the monies they receive through NIL, Revenue Sharing and BG gifts any any money they may receive from participating in BG’s. They should even be penalized by reducing their full scholarships.
I don’t know how others feel but if the kids want to earn big boy money then grow up and realize you are there for the entertainment of fans who are shoveling out big bucks for this entertainment. I am tired of this greed from athletes and their families. I am tired of treating them with kid gloves. If you are making a couple of million dollars, then earn it ! If players are not realizing their potential but are receiving 4 to 5 million dollars then reduce their pay.
I have always been frustrated by athletes who want more money when they excel, but will not accept a pay cut when they do not meet expectations.
Fans are always demand coaches salaries be reduced or coaches be fired for lack of success ,so apply the same to athletes who are being paid to perform and succeed. IMO the portal is a crutch and an enabler for players. It’s an escape hatch for players who under perform.
Players made their demands now they must live with the new world of college athletics or play for pay 💰💰💰💰💰💰 !!!
