letter from Sakerlina during your college admission process? To this day, I have no idea why I got an acceptance letter from SC U when I didn't even apply. Siriusly.

In 1969, the main school(?) I received letters from was Massey Institute of Technology; which I still do not know its location. I just did not want to see one from Uncle Sam. In hind sight, I would have probably been better off. I was just a little better than average student from the Colleton swamplands. I could have used the growing up direction.

If you ride around the Lamecock campus for 4 years, they'll toss a diploma in the window.
I never applied to Carolina and never received an acceptance letter. It would have just been garbage junk-mail anyway.

when you were filling-out the paperwork for the SAT, you were asked to list three schools that you wanted to receive your test results. A lot of people arbitrarily listed uof6c and, as a result, received unsolicited acceptances.
There was an old joke back in the 70's. What do students at Clemson and South Carolina have in common.
They both got accepted to South Carolina.

Nope. Only listed Clemson, GT, and MIT. Received acceptance letters from all them and only them, but could only afford Clemson.

I applied to South Carolina because there was an extension in our town. Dumb high schooler thought I would come home during the summer and go there for credits. Clemson was a blast in the summer. I went to Clemson and never left. Come home????

lol, who applied there? it came down to Rutgers, UF, Maryland, and Clemson. Maryland was too big, the Rutgers campus sucked. UF would not let you into the architecture program until your sophomore year, whereas Clemson started you right away.
easy choice.
