I’m going to say at least 3 more putting us at 6-6. Coot game winner may be the one that’ gets to a bowl.

Considering this had the potential of being a top 10 or possibly a top 6 matchup with major implications that everybody in the country would be watching, now it will be a game between mediocre to slightly less than mediocre teams. We could call it the Irrelevant Bowl. Will be on ESPN 8.

Wait until players have decided to leave and preserve a year of eligibility. Then you can see what we have left to finish the season. You also have to count complete lack of motivation the rest of the schedule although that didn’t seem to matter in the first 4 games. It just seems it’s time to play young guys though.

The biggest game for Clemson this season will be Nov. 8th in the Valley vs Florida State. 2-10 in 2024 HC Mike Norvell fired both cords and replaced them with proven winners. I have watched OC Malzahn's offense and DC Tony White's defense and they are an unstoppable Machine.

Looking very likely at 5-6 going into Columbia. I think we beat UNC and BC and Furman.

I'm seeing 2 wins and the balance = toss-ups/losses. My guess is as wild as anyone's, but I'd lean to 5-7 or 6-6 (45% & 55%, respectively).

ESPN FPI metrics have us at 6-6 or 7-5 as the most likely outcome.

FPI still had our offense and defense in the top 20 before Saturday as well. I wouldn't go off of that.

Realistically? 5-6 more losses.
FSU, Louisville, Coots, Duke, BC, SMU as of now are guaranteed losses. This is team is bad, beyond bad. Not even D1 worthy football. Syracuse is supposedly one of the worst teams we were gonna play all year and we saw the outcome there.
6-6 is the ceiling for this team but that's going to be the biggest mountain climb I've ever seen.
I say 4-8 is the final outcome. Coots will be our bowl game. Beat them to at least get the p!$$ stains off our back.

Would you bet the house on that with this team? I wouldn't. There are 0 games guaranteed with this team

At this point I have no idea. We could bounce back and run table. Dabo could pull a Jimbo's last year at FSU. Who knows at this point?

UNC - 75% we win Boston College - 75% we win SMU - 50/50 Duke - 60% we win FSU - 10% we win Louisville - 25% we win Furman - 99% we win South Carolina - 25% we win
I'd say most likely record is 5-7 or 6-6 (I'd guess 6-6). Worst case scenario is 3-9. Best case scenario is 8-4.
