Our defense sucked against both. Syracuse is also a lot worse than when they played us since their QB tore his Achilles

SYR loss? SYR QB Angeli stunned me with his accuracy against us, and his pocket presence was also excellent. If I remember correctly, SYR scored one TD after Angeli injured his leg in the game against us and, as of end of their game was, both Angeli and SYR were done for the year. Against us, SYR’s backup QB inherited the ball with a first down at Clemson 10 yard line. I think he threw a TD pass on his first play and then SYR didn’t score again.
Prior to Angeli getting injured, we had about as much chance of stopping SYR as a sparrow has against a windshield. Our defensive coaching staff got sodomizzzzed.
Duke loss? Blown coverage. Another blown coverage. Bad coverage x several times (not included in this count were the two blown coverages). Unjustified arrogance in our kick off team’s coverage skills (how on Earth could our coaches think our KO coverage was good, given that 19 out of 20 times the opposing team doesn’t attempt to run it out) that led to easy KOR TD.
That’s about it.

I’m really hoping that Dabo replaces a lot of position coaches and gets a new OC. Gotta dip in deeper in the portal too. Dabo’s most important offseason.
