I'v been asking the same question all afternoon. He has been head recruiter for the last 2 coaches. Our players have not really panned out. They seem to stay at the level they arrive at. Development maybe or maybe missing on evaluation? I just dont see how you keep anyone this time around. What if he is part of the problem??

Because he has Clemson connections, great recruiter and representative of the program, and he does not play a major role in the game time decisions.

His recruiting should be evaluated. Eventually you gotta look at the talent you bring in and realize there has been a pretty big gap from the impact guys and the bottom of the lineup guys

Clemson man through and through, knows high school coaches and the recruiting trails, great personality and has tons of baseball knowledge. The head coach gets blamed for too much and gets too much credit but the assistant is usually never blamed or given much credit when the successes come.

Personally, I was hoping Lecroy would get a look. Played against his legion teams 20+ years ago and they always whooped us strictly on coaching. I hope Neff can sell ice to an Eskimo because times are different now. I do feel like he is in the know however and being progressive in that regard.
