speculation is they'll also launch cruise and ballistic missiles along with launches by Hezbollah to time it out in an attempt to overwhelm Israel's Iron Dome. If that happens, look out! Israel will respond big time and we'll back them, and a huge escalation is possible. Russia backs Iran. China as well. Turkey has smoothed relations with them. Some possible, biblical stuff here.

and if this explodes it would likely throw us headlong into a Middle Eastern conflict. How would we threaten China as well? China would get their oil from Russia, who would profit immensely. Would see oil prices explode. Either way its not good, as Israel likely responds somehow to just a drone attack as its actually Iran firing on Israel for the first time

I do not see them giving uas the up It also serves them no long-term interest to align with Iran, or for Iran to attain Nukes. China is in it for its own survival,it have plenty of its own domestic issues, and Russia's military is a little thin right now.I would not be so doom and gloom over Iran, Strategically they are F'd anyway, and they know it. I just hop e their air defenses hold and there are no casualties, because this could escalate, and that would nto be good.

I agree China will do nothing that isn't in its own interest. But the economic turmoil there could become a spark for Xi to flex their military. Russia's military is far stronger than 2 years ago, and they are manufacturing arms faster than all of NATO combined.
The Iron Dome did its job last night. In spite of over 300 drones and missiles, no reported deaths and little damage. Ball is now in Irael's court. They asked for a UN Security Council meeting and that will happen a 4PM today. Looking for a condemnation of Iran. I don't think Russia or China go along with that. So what will Israel do? Biden told them they're on their own if they respond, but I honestly believe that's just for political cover. The US, Britain and Jordan all intercepted missiles last night. Jordan is one to watch, as the population there is overwhelmingly pro Israel resistance. Remember the Arab spring from a decade or so ago?
Iran wants mass uprising in the region. If Israel responds strongly, that could be the match.

We should expect Iran to behave like a lamb if we only continue to not enforce sanctions on the sale of Iranian oil. Money makes them nice.
It's estimated Iran has gained about $80 billion from the sale of oil to China which Iran is surely not using for their peaceful expansion of nuclear power or arming their proxies. We should thank Biden for that brilliant policy move.
Additionally, unlike Obama, Biden stood tall when asked about the potential for an Iranian attack on Israel. I mean the guy is like the Terminator, Raybans and all. He said, "Don't." No red lines just a terse "Don't."
Four more years baby and we'll have the entire world cowering from such strong leadership.
