I'm hearing from a former college QB whose son is a HS senior QB that McIlwain is expected to switch to PSU or play baseball, and that Muskrat and Bentley seem resigned to it because they're recruiting a replacement (kid from Spartanburg) with a not-so-impressive list if offers as a stop-gap. This is because Bentley's son is a 2017 prospect, supposedly #5 QB. I don't follow recruiting closely enough to know, but it sounds plausible. Sounds like they're throwing away a year as they look to the future.

and his parents are concerned about the relationship dynamics with the Bentleys and the team.

Problem for PSU is that their baseball team sucks.

I think he goes to MLB if he's drafted in the 1st round.
