Haven't been to Ryman, have been to Nashville once for a 1-day meeting on short notice, flying out next am. Then, we stayed at Gaylord, went to Grand Ole Opry, we jumped into a cab(s) (been awhile) and went to Tootsie's, drank too much, went back to Gaylord & met up with peeps that didnt go, drank more, flew home wit hangover.
I'd like to do betta this time, schedule is flexible. Prolly driving, but maybe not.

We had dinner at 60 Vines one night. It was across the street from the Ryman. It was excellent food and pretty reasonably priced.
Etch was tasty but fancier than I was looking for. Sunda New Asian was a bit of a hike from Broadway, but I would recommend if the menu appeals to you.

I've been done with anything on Broadway for a long time now.

It's far too crowded and truth be told, most of what's there now are celebrity-owned corporate-type establishments with expensive drinks and food that really aren't that good. Sure...there's a ton of talent still playing in those bars but it's covers leaning heavily towards the modern bro-country stuff to appeal to the young tourists and bachelorette parties. I guess what I'm saying is try to find stuff OFF Broadway and don't waste your night trying to get in and out of anywhere down there, even Tootsie's, Robert's, or Legends Corner (unless you go to those spots very EARLY in the afternoon). We haven't been in a couple of years, so I'd lean on Obed® for food recommendations.

Side streets are far less proud of their PBR than Tootsie's.

back show. But, that is pretty much what his terrific music has always been, with a couple exceptions. Here's one, kind sorta...

Be glad to give you my usual extensive list of recommendations that people usually ignore and just pay $20 for bud lights on broadway and stand in line at Hattie B’s for mid chicken and then go home and say nashville is overrated.
