That is what I thought you hit the Pylon with the ball you are considered in how is it any different with your foot!

Pylons are only talked about usually when a player has possession of the ball. In that case it is past the goal line and a TD.

If you hit the pylon crossing into the end zone WITH possession then it's a TD. If you hit the pylon w/o possession and THEN get possession, then you're out of bounds. Makes sense to me - though I don't like it!

It doesn't make any sense. Either the pylon is in bounds, or it's out of bounds. It can't be both.

It makes zero sense your foot can go through the air out of bounds and land in bounds and you are still in bounds.
Its not like his foot hit GROUND out of bounds.
