Tonight I had a Grilled Miso Butter steak with coconut brown rice, brussel sprouts, and clam shell mushrooms. It was delightful and the melange of flavors was perfection. This was paired with a 2018 Ornellaia Bolgheri Superiore that I found expressive, yet not intrusive.
Two tables away was Patrick Dempsey, who my wife kept staring at, and two tables in another direction was one of the Bond girls from about 10 years ago, who I kept staring at just to show my wife who was boss.
I hope Chophouse is delicious.

I’d suggest peppering your anus while you still have the opportunity.

I hope you have some slippery drunk sex. After a meal like that, there’s nothing I like better than giving my old ball and chain a real ok weinering. I just got home from my local Scotch Whisky enthusiasts club meeting, pondered some mysteries of the universe outside by a fire drinking some of one of man’s finest creations.

Sir, I’m offended. I’ll have you know that just last year I took a pilgrimage to Speyside. A man must be multifaceted and well studied in many disciplines. Why just this week I attended a private wine tasting of Sforzato Nebbiolo from a small DOCG near the Dolomites, tonight enjoyed a few glencairns of an 18 year single malt, and on Friday I’ll probably have a couple frosty Busch Lattes after I get done planting and again after opening day of Turkey season on Saturday.

"expressive, yet not intrusive".
I bet you found it to have enticing aromas suggesting ripe blackberries, juniper berries, purple flower and sandalwood. Firmly structured and boasting class and finesse, the palate is still young and austere, offering black cherries, currants, black pepper and tobacco. Tightly wound, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity as well?
And you spent $260-ish for a weeknight bottle of wine.
Pul-lease.
BTW - what time should I be over tonight?
