Good Sunday evening TNet. A big pot of Chilli Beans is on the stove. Slowly cooking to perfection while sitting on the deck, talking with my son and listening to some music. Enjoying a Natural Light and a comfortable evening!!!
Yum! Yum!!
What are you cooking tonight??

Iron Pan fried Cube Steak in mushrooms and gravy, fresh corn on the Cobb from a local farm, homemade mash potatoes, and hydrogenated Ice cold water.
There is nothing like cooking in cast iron cookware. 😋
I found a great family owed meat combo grocery store in Woodruff, SC. Man it’s the kind of market I have been looking for. It’s was near my own back door.
They have most any kind of meat, chicken, pork, fish, oysters, alligator meat, duck, ostrich meat, side meat, pork bully, octopus and more. Prices are very reasonable. They even have rabbits, pheasant, and some wild game you can request.
It’s COUNTRY MEATS on Hwy 221 just on the edge of Downtown Woodruff, SC. They have a butcher who will give personal service.
I cannot wait to go back for some of the specialty meats. They even have venison. I would have packed my freezer if I could afford the meat.
I am still looking for a deer if one of you Hunter’s get an Extra one. That would be a big help with my grocery budget. I would be tremendously grateful if some within 100 miles of the upstate area has one. I will cover any cost you incur and include a profit for you.
Remember Good Rancher’s and or Country Meats in Woodfruff, SC. Both are great options. I have had meat from both and will continue to buy from both.
Hope everyone enjoys your Supper tonight. 😋
Thank you to everyone on Tigernet ! You are a great group of people 🙏🙏😊😊🐅🐅 Have a great week.🐅

You are still on my list for a deer - just about filled freezers for everyone who I give them to. And it would be only for the processor's fee - sort of illegal to take money for wild game.

Ms. The Mole made a huge bowl of Chicken Salad featuring:
Diced Chicken Oscar Meyer Bacon chopped into pieces Cubed Apples Pineapple Bits Grapes Chopped Pecans Sliced Celery
All that is mixed in with some Duke's Mayo and a pinch of Red Pepper Flakes.
(When I catch her head turned I sprinkle some sugar on top on mine)
Served with a Roll that was NOT called up yonder.

I cook my own fresh whole chicken. Either deep fried or rotisserie style. Then I get 2 mixing bowls. 1 for all chicken meat the other for the items meant for the trash.
It usually takes a couple of hours to pick off nothing but chicken meat. I really dislike uneatable parts in my chicken salad. Make sure the pieces are small. Then I cut up fresh celery and break each cut into small pieces. Mix them together with Dukes Mayonnaise.
Some of you may want to leave out the celery or add other veggies or fruits to suit your taste then mix it with your favorite brand of mayo.
Personally I like my chicken salad to be most all chicken. I do Not like those who use some chicken with a vegetable / fruit stand mixed in with it. lol 😂 But everybody’s taste are different.
I like to make a sandwich using Hawaiian Brand Rolls, sliced bread or their sub bread. The sweetness of their bread gives the chicken salad a little kick in flavor.
One medium to large chicken will allow you to make approximately a quart for about $8 to $10. The Fresh Market brand they make cost approximately $16 to $20 for a quart. Every time I have bought chicken salad from the Fresh Market, most time I would have to pick out the uneatable parts of the chicken.
I like to make my own because I know what’s in it.
If you eat Chinese food save the quart containers that some takeout foods like Wonton Soup come in. They make great containers for chicken salad or other foods you want to store.
They are great for tailgating to.
