I beg to differ on some of things he said. Only the Brad fringe wanted to build a statue or name the court. Yes, we had a good season. I wouldn't call it great. Last year was a great team.

But I would argue with Charlie or Larry about these being the glory days. To me, the glory days were the mid 70s to mid 80's. Foster would have taken a bunch of street kids that were athletic and run circles around Brad just like wade did Thursday.

Is it exciting to watch Clemson go 18-2 in the league, certainly. But when you look back on it, we played a bunch of mediocre teams. We had 2 wins over good, legit ranked teams. We lost 7 games (all to unranked teams). Neff and his pet dog Brad can trot out all the "firsts " they want to. The only reason we're as successful as we are now is because Dabo built Clemson into a national brand... I'm not so sure that Larry shyatt wouldn't have been as successful or even more successful these last 16 years as Brad has been.
