Last time we plated Jawja had no offensive touchdowns against us...we made a bunch of trips inside the puppies 30 but Ole concrete shoes could not fashion a score except a pick six...we might have lost to the Dogs but moral victories still count! I think our D might be better now...if you can sit SB you must have a plethora of studs!

I hope he’s right!
My concern is that the optimism is based solely on what Dabo has told us, and not any actual evidence we can judge for ourselves.
The most recent evidence we have is the 2023 season as well as the spring game a few months ago, neither of which seem very encouraging for our fall prospects on offense.
If our offense is truly going to be significantly improved, it will mean that we have made extremely rapid improvement in the last few months. I hope it’s true, but I find it hard to believe.

I agree JK. We'll know in 5 days.
It could mean that our Defense isn't living up to their hype either. I'm cautiously optimistic because all I can base any opinion on, is last year's bowl. And our D got torched. I'm actually more interested in seeing our D than the offense. Especially the back-end.

I tend to agree on Dabo’s optimism. He lost me early on when he said KP could play for any NFL team.
However, I think a lot more can be learned from what players say. The defensive players have been saying the offense looks sharp, completely different from last year. One defensive back said last year it was like our offense was in a box and easy to defend. He said this year CGR is really throwing the book at them and getting guys in space more. I’m finding hope in what these defenders say….until I start saying oh crap the defense is gonna be lost like they often were vs Kentucky. You just don’t know which it is until you play someone besides yourself.

Here’s the thing - this is the second time McElroy has gone with this insider tidbit. If there are people inside the program feeding McElroy choice information who is to say they aren’t also getting information to Kirby since ESPN and SEC are one and the same. Smells funny that McElroy knows more than the TNet warriors.

Not sure how to take your post. Legit or sarcasm? Anyone, and many on here, including dhood, could do this exact video merely listening to what Dabo and the players have said... so not exactly inside information. As above, let's hope all the hype is on point.
