Hey good news is now I dont have to contribute to Charities (no more pink) and people who are sick, they are all covered under insurance so no more giving. Clemson I am going to up my IPTAY contribution...

He's got a point. The government acts as a competitor.

The more the government spends the less money is donated to private charities. The government serves to act as a competitor for charitable a services, and since most people are paying taxes anyway...they stop giving. The cycle continues as the government continues to pick up the slack.
