Looks like Dabo started working to address the depth issue at QB right away. That'll do for 2015. And he's already 6'4", 205 pounds? Amazing. Great that he's an instate kid, too.

Baller - went to most Wren games last year and the young man is being developed well by Jeff Tate and company. Good touch on throws and can run up the middle as well as to the sides. Took charge in huddle also. Great news!!

Yep, and this dude will be great on that little QB read when it's 3rd and 1 or 2 .
You know he'll put on 20 lbs. easy.
A good looking kid.
Maybe a 4* by years end.

I'm sorry that things did not work out for Chad Kelly, but I was concerned about his attitude from day one - his tweet about Cole Stoudt. I guess his maturity level didn't get any better.
And I guess Chad Kelly leaving solves an overcrowded QB situation in 2014. Looks like Watson is our future for the next few years and Kelly Bryant is out future after that. The future is looking sweet at Clemson in terms of QB!!!

i'd never root against Chad Kelly because he tried to be Clemson, but his mouth got him in trouble before he started.
too bad he couldn't understand sooner & realize which behavior would be more beneficial to him getting what he wanted...starting, or at least playing...
we're tired of drama around here & want performance & expectations met, not just tantrums thrown, or worse - INTs!

This kid has a great and quick release which will help him protect the football while passing. This type of release will cut down on sacks when under pressure during major rushes and blitzes. Also notice that he protects the football while running. He place the ball away from the contact size during the run. Many Qbs don't think or do this while scrammbling or on qb run plays. As good of qb Boyd was, he didn't do this when running the ball. Like Watson, this kid has been starting since his freshman year and performed like a veteran or upperclassman. So I'm not surprised how he accept the coaching of the little things and follow through with them.
