I need pants.
Rarely if ever wear jeans anymore. Pretty much wear khakis exclusively. Don't wear blue, black, etc - just khakis. I have a current inventory that I rotate through but they are all pretty old and getting somewhat threadbare. Play a lot of golf so need something comfortable but good looking and appropriate for the club. None of that performance crap, need at least a little bit of cotton in there. Looked at Bonobos but damn $100 is a lot to spend on a pair of pants.
What are we wearing these days?

Jeans, Chinos, regular khakis,k everything. Butt unless you get them on sale, you gonna be around $90 a pair, but if you're like me and not a UDP then this won't bother you.

linger. EVERYONE should observe the pants mandate - especially in a public. If you really feel you must go without pants in your own car by yourself, or walking down the street, fine. But dadgummit, you need to pants up in public. Although it is OK to take them off in the restaurant once you sit down.

how many of you are still wearing the pants? Went to an event this weekend and chuckled at the people waiting in line, outside, with pants on. I think some folks will never let go of the pants.

Orvis Ultimate Khakis are nice for work, but kinda heavy for summer wear. But they have other versions too. Carhartt has some "dress up, or dress down" khakis.

I have 10ish pair, mostly Original Mountain Pants, but the sizing can be weird. I get the Boardwalk (slim) in a 34x34 usually. Looks like that might not be an option anymore though, Classic Fit is the only option online.

The Poplin Pants are probably what you are looking for. I have a couple pair of those as well, but again, sizing it weird so try them on. I think the MODERN fit in those was too tight for Greenr's thighs but if you are not a muscly fellow, you should be fine.

and basically never changed, except I moved on to 505s & 550s as I got older... the 501 button down fly can be a hassle at times, and 505/550s have a little more room in the thighs/crotch. I should be in a damm commercial as a 50-year loyal customer. I mean, of course I have other pants for work casual and dress up and all that. But other than that... Levi's. Wearing em right now. I just never liked any other blue jeans as well... and that's about all I wear unless required to wear something else.
