His act is wearing a little thin at Oklahoma, but his annual compensation is right at $6 million. I don't think USuC could afford that, and I doubt that he wants to take a cut in salary.

This is no time for Stoops to balk on OU. It's been his home for long enough they probably will tolerate his losing a few games a year if he can split games with Tejus. I don't think they will take any chit off him though.
