That would suck. And be stupid, in my opinion. I can see barring fans, but killing the entire tourney - I don't get it.

Yeah, they had to make this decision before the game was played to ensure the regular season champ could still become the default TourneyKing.

Once the Tigers had rolled the Noles, the teams would have had to play it out in order to crown a new champion.
