Their quote is just a nice way of saying that, "Greg Sankey is stomping his feet and rolling around on the floor like a toddler who isn't getting his way because the rest of the conferences discovered his covert dealings with realignment and expansion before he could get all of the deals done at the same time".

but primarily the number of teams, revenue distribution, bowl games, and whether the Power 5 conference champions should be given automatic bids.

If the SEC has 3 teams worthy then they should be in.

What needs to be agreed on, as far as revenue distribution, (IMO) is the conferences with representation in the playoff should split it equally regardless of how many representatives a conference has. In other words if the play off is Alabama, Clemson, UGA, Ohio State, Oklahoma, TexAM, Michigan and USC then the SEC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12 and Pac12 would split the pot 5 ways period. Make Sankey's realignment pointless.
