Heading out to Atlanta now. Worried about UGA (Also Clemson)

Very worried about Georgia today. Opening game against a top 10 team is always scary.
Would rather be playing a Virginia Tech, Elon, or some team of their ilk. It is THE SCHEDULE that determines what a team does. Never forget that.
Oregon has firepower and should win the Pac 10. Bo Nix is extremely elusive. Oregon has talent all over the field. And, you know they would love nothing more than beat the National Champions to open the season.
The Dawgs of 2021 rank of one of the best teams in the past 50 years. The defense possibly the best ever. THAT MEANS NOTHING. HISTORY.
The Dawgs offense could be unstoppable. Time will tell. The defense is the mystery. Talent? Yes. Just unproven.
The 2018 Clemson DL were NFL players who were playing in college. Not a fair fight. Ditto for the 2021 Dawgs DL. But, this is a new year, new players.
Chemistry. Intangibles. Intricacies we just DO NOT YET KNOW. Most people simply do not understand this concept and TRUTH about teams and it frustrates me when people assume. Each year is different.
I have always been able to see the game within the game. Much like when I play golf, I think differently than others and can “see” things that others simply cannot. That is a God given innate gift. Before something happens, I sense it. I never brag, but no one can possibly understand the depths of my mind. I have probably been incorrect in my analysis of Georgia and Clemson maybe 2 times in the past 10 years. Clemson has the potential and pieces in place this season to have a good season.
My two favorite teams are Georgia and Clemson. Strange combination of teams, but reality.
The next few days will get to see both teams in person and I am thankful and grateful.
I will make a final analysis before kick off of each game to get a final sense and intuition, but RIGHT NOW:
Georgia wins by between 16-25 points
Clemson wins by between 17-27 points

Every year is a brand new football team with unknowns. At this time of year rankings mean nothing.
Predicts Clemson and Georgia to win.

Don't know what the point spread is but I have never known a team to win by a half point. What ever you will win the game.

Don't sweat it today, BD. In the grand scheme of things, this

game really only means the same thing that Georgia's win over Clemson in the opener last year meant.
Now, don't get me wrong, it meant a HELLUVA lot to fans of both teams. But, in reality, all it meant was that the "freebie" loss was now gone for the loser. Had Clemson run the table, and won the ACC Championship game as in years past, we would have been in the CFP, with that one close loss to a top ranked team.
The deal is the same for the Dawgs this year. Even if you lose this game, run the table and win the SEC again, you are in, no doubts. But, I'll even concede that the opponent you will face in the SEC Championship game, probably Alabama, is light years tougher than what Clemson will face if we return to form and make the ACC Championship Game. I do NOT concede that what you face in the SEC Least is much tougher than the better teams in the ACC. Florida and Tennessee are still living off past glories, and Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina? Please.
But, I digress. The original intent of this message was to convey, just as with our loss last year, everything the Dawgs want to accomplish (other than an undefeated season) would still be in play with a loss today. Happy Duck Hunting!

I am not worried about Georgia. I don’t have a Dawg or Duck in that fight.
Glad Clemson is your #2 but that is indeed strange. That’s akin to being a Yankees and Red Sox fan or a Dallas and Washington fan.
However, we welcome your support of the Tigers.

but that is like comparing oranges to cherries (as in cherry picking)..
so yes & congrats, your 2021 TEAM did win the Natty for 2021 and that makes them great.

I’m actually getting a little appreciation for Georgia now. My now longtime girlfriend is a Georgia fan, and at first I didn’t buy in a first but now I find myself cheering for Georgia except when they play Clemson. I especially enjoy watching Georgia squash the gamecocks

Hopefully, we perform exactly they we did 42 years ago after the dawgs won their 1st Natty, we went and won the National Championship to show them Clemson has always been better despite the recruiting championships UGA has lol!
We have no choice but win the National Championship this season! Let’s go Tigers!
Fun fact, Tigers won’t kill ducks they actually like them!
Let’s go

the game you'd be off this board, not trolling here with subtle hubris and pronouncements of "greatness"

I need to know this golf secret.
It's completely understandable to me your being a fan of both. I grew up going to Sanford Stadium with my maternal uncle from Athens. Years later my paternal uncle took me to Death Valley and I've been hooked since.
Now both teams are contenders and makes the season extra special. Good luck with the Ducks.

I’ve pretty much been accurate in predicting both teams through the years. Too many people go by their heart and not their head.
The heart will deceive.
The head does not lie.
I am one of the few able to know this AND utilize it.
In golf, too.
I have a good read on where both programs are and the trajectories.
Football season is special!

Lol. Georgia 2021 one of the best teams ever.

Just LOL. Easily the worst team to finish atop the polls I’ve seen since LSU did it with 2 losses. The transfer portal has gutted the depth of elite teams and none of the top teams were stacked as much last year as they have been in the past. You’re absolutely delusional for even thinking that last year’s Georgia team ranks as one of the best teams in the last 50 years. You got two shots at an injured Bama team. At best you are co-champions with Bama. LOL
