Sammy said the team was tight and not having fun. You could see that Boyd was just mentally absent. I guess we will never know.

Look at Tajh the last few coot games, a bit of pressure and his stats look like a back up in a spring game against the 1st string D
Seriously hit tajh he gets rattled and pressure him and the offense doesn't work
not his fault, I think the pretty boy offense looks good against lesser defensive talent and falls apart in the big game on the big stage
Don't give me the LSU game as an example

What about VT the past 3 times and FSU in 2011 and 2012 (despite the loss our offense still put up 37 points and 430 yards)

The biggest reason. Tajh has disappointed in some situations, including Saturday night, is fairly simple. He is good, but not nearly as good as everyone has made him out to be. He plays in a QB friendly system, and one that is lucky that the talent surrounding him promises that most of the games are against teams with little chance of winning. Even in some big games he gets lucky to face a defense like this years version from Georgia. UGA was a good team when healthy, but their defense is pathetic. Maybe it was lucky. Maybe it was fate. But his 4th qtr performance against LSU was an anomaly. Most times when he faces a team that can actually get just a little pressure on him he looks like he did Saturday night. Seen it against USC every year. He looks like a deer in the headlights. Luckily, he only has that problem a couple of times a year because of the talent advantage Clemson holds over the majority of their schedule.
