We don't even know if he has 1 year or 2 years eligibility left. It's as if Dabo is taunting us with this guy. He may end up awesome, but you wonder how Dabo found him and chose him. It's pretty funny actually. Anyway watch him be great.

Like, is it 1 or is it 2....if you do not know, do not put anything and leave it alone.
Either way, I did chuckle at reading that... Like, our Tigers are not used to this portal world and cannot even figure out how it works and how much eligibility a player has.
Gotta get some practice at this transfer portal.... LOL

I’m counting the extra year coming from the lawsuit bought by Vandy Qb and others to give an extra year to JUCO players. Praying it happens. The kid has size and great hands. You can’t teach that! So TWO years. Hehehe

My understanding is he is hoping one of his JC years will count as RS and he will get extra year. That's why he wasn't totally sure of his status but I might have misread something?

NCAA eligibility in some form or fashion because they were forbidden from partaking in NIL in JUCO. So they may get a year back based on how that turns out.

When you get a transfer...eligibility really doesn't even matter. Most are 1 and done guys either way, whether they go pro or get a better offer at another school. I look at every transfer like they are a 1 year rental, if you get another year then its a bonus.

he's def here to be another boundary WR for depth, most of our guys are 5'11-6'1. With Randall gone next year, Johnson gone and moving Hanafin to DB...which he may be willing to try back at WR next year, he'll earn a chance at PT. I see him more like a Dacari Collins type. At least he was a primary target before, so he knows what he's capable of.

He played at a JUCO and there is/was a suit with the NCAA against counting JUCO eligibility. Maybe that's affecting the remaining eligibility.
What if he is a "hedge" in case Williams declares for the draft OR, if Williams and the rest of the WRs (not currently in the portal) comeback, he could he redshirted.

My guess would be they might be considering a waiver request to see if they could get an extra year of eligibility, which could be why they don’t know for sure.
As of right now, he appears to only have one year left.

The Vandy QB,"San" Diego Pavia, sued the NCAA as they counted his 2 JUCO years against his 5 years to play 4. I believe the suit was thrown out by the Court as not having "Standing."
