to go to another school. I see it as he was not meant to be a Tiger. Both the player and Clemson are better off because he would never be All In.

assure you, we would have touted him as both good and highly rated. I have never understood the need by some to tear down a kid just because he did not choose to come to Clemson. It is both immature and petty.

I don't know, there seems to be a fair share of posters on here that enjoy commenting on how the commits we do get aren't quite as good as the one who just committed to Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, etc. also.

I think it is only natural (not accurate, but natural) to downplay the talents of the other guys while building ours up. I bet the UGA, OSU, Bama fans do the same thing.
I think it is far more wrong & wrong-headed to questions a kid's character when he chooses another school.

I certainly agree there are numerous reasons why a kid may choose to attend a school other than Clemson. All schools have positives, and each coach is just trying their best to accentuate the positives of their school. Sometimes another school is simply more appealing than Clemson.

Yep, this is all about playing time and he knew that he wasnt going to see any field time for 2 or 3 years at best. i wish him the best of luck!

Fans are fickle and insecure. They tend to overlay their personal wants/needs/desires on a recruit so if the recruit does not choose their preferred school they need to rationalize a reason why the other school was chosen. Fans cannot admit that every recruit has a different criterion for choosing a school and there are a lot of good options.
Possible reasons in no particular order
Bagman
NIL
Afraid of competition
We did not really want him
Not that good
A handler was involved
Dude is a head case
Other school lied to him
Must be low character
Other school cheated

Quite frankly if White came here on a visit to collect names and contacts for Auburn to recruit then he is a snake that definitely picked the right program in Hugh Freeze and Auburn.
