One of the little sunzovbeotches has infiltrated our attic. I have literally scanned the entire roofline. All soffit vents are intact. I can not find the point of entry, like AT ALL. He and I just had a Chinese standoff in the attic. Can't take my .22 up there as that would be dangerous being a hood with a HOA in city limits and all. Plus retrieving him would be a pita and the option of not would stink, literally.
Any suck jestions? Traps? Or maybe just burn the whole house down?

peanut butter in the trap. Get it trapped then do what you will outside of the HOA and city limits.
If not actaully trapped in the attic this may not work.

Peanut butter is fine, but moose guts bring the squirrels running.***

.22 is not nearly enough gun for that. You want at least a .50 caliber.***

Do you have gutter guards?

They can chew their way in through the ends of those. If you do have them, check them out if you haven’t already.
Otherwise burn your house down

Also and like I said the other day, it's learned behavior.

If ya got 1, others know the way in also.
If using a trap bait it with sunflower seeds, they are visual feeders.
Gotta find out where they are getting in though. Kill squirrel, close entry point, then go for genocide of the local population.
Also, a bb gun can do the trick if you are a good enough shot. They struggle with a bb to the eyeball.

Good idea, also don't want to miss and put a hole in the roof.

Our last house we knew the point of entry, so a guy put a trap there. He caught like 11 squirrels over a couple of weeks, THEN sealed the hole. Fixed.
He said you have to trap and keep trapping them until all the ones who know how to get in are accounted for, THEN fix the hole. Otherwise they will come back.
Oddly, this time around I can't seem to find the hole. I'm getting old I guess.

of tiny animals. Can’t promise what she’d do to the attic but she’d take care of your squirrel. And God help if you or any neighbors keep chickens.

You have several options here, depending on availability.

Release one of the following in your attic:
1. great horned owl 2. peregrine falcon 3. redtailed hawk
4. Profit

Burning the house down is kind of a knee-jerk reaction.

The simple solution here is to put ten to fifteen 5-gallon buckets filled with a 50-50 mix of bleach and ammonia in the attic and let chemistry do its thing!
