I don't think so. I think he will not enroll this fall. It's not like he just did something stupid like smoke pot, get in a fight, or get a dui. He went into someone's house and flat out robed them. He is a criminal and has no business being at a university much less the school paying for it.

I'd agree with you if this were just about any other school. Despite his prior issues, he'll probably get PTI for the charges (as he would most South Carolina venues). I'd be surprised if Carolina doesn't take him if that's the case. We shall see.

Theft is pretty serious though. I assume justice will be served . At least I hope it will be. I'm sure the USC-Beaufort law team is already preparing the defense.

The only question that needs to be answered is why he wasn't charged with 1st or 2nd Degree Burglary. Larceny is already a reduced charge so how much more are they going to help him out. Anytime you enter someone's home with the intent to commit a crime it is burglary. Just depends on the time of day and whether the residence was occupied at the time.

All I can think of is he was there as a guest, then robbed them.

Be on the football team come fall. Many athletes at colleges like coots, Auburn, Fsu, etc. have to murder someone before they are kicked off the football team. If you are a big time player like Winston at FSU or in this case a high profile recruit, the school will usually do anything within its power to get a player on campus no matter what kind of trouble they got in. Thats why i love Clemson. Dabo doesn't allow one player to ruin the image of Clemson. Dabo has proven multiple times in the past that it doesn't matter how talented you are, if you don't abide by the rules, you will no longer be on this football team. I can guarantee that if Winston was at Clemson, he would of been dismissed a long time ago. If blackshear was a Clemson recruit, he would no longer be welcome to enroll at Clemson university. That's how it should be at every college but unfortunately its not

I completely agree that Dabo runs a much cleaner program than a majority of programs but with your claim, Sammy would have been kicked off our Team.

Garcia, et al. Spurrier's record going back to his Florida days show over 100 instances of these types of matters where he doesn't do a darn thing to punish the kids. What's worse is his lack of punishment ends up hurting the kids in the long run. But as we all know, he doesn't care one bit about the kids. It's all about Steve.

Didn't stop Spurrier from signing him, so obviously this latest transgression will be brushed under the rug like everything else down there.

It's amazing how soon that all came to pass just by signing with USCjr. If he's ever admitted, just think what he can accomplish along those lines.
