and yeah stubborn_tiger®, I'm comin' for them pecs brah
but my position is that Ari Gold is the greatest character in cinematic or TV series history. to the point, that I may start re-watching Entourage to sharpen up my recollection of his zingers in relation to dealing with my life and idiots on a day to day basis.
so jounge, who's your #1 character ever? TV series or movies

very close #2. If Seinfeld had more bewbies and liberty to be HBO-like, I think he'd run away with it.

my neighbor, through saving his fitness allowance from one of the big consulting shops, has built out a full gym in his 3 car garage. got barbell weights up to 315, bench, power rack, and a set of those bowflex dumbbells that goes from 10 - 90 or something? can't member...dip bar, pull up bar, cable set up for pull downs and what not, everything really. it's dope
But yeah, they've been workin out for quite a while, and convinced me to start joining em bout 2 weeks ago. jog around for 10 minutes, get there at 520, done by 615, walk dog and shower and in big chair by 645. been digging the schedule
so I think I'm going to cancel my gym membership and just work out w/ the bros haha
how ghey is that? like, hungry jack and flapjacks on plastic table cloths ghey? or like, ghey enuff to get a snarky remark from cap'n hater greenr ghey?

Al Swearengen was great. I think if that show ran longer, he'd be higher up on my list.
I never saw the movie...and I don't think my wife has seen this show so maybe we can re-watch it.

Quality GIF reply. But you really think there aren't 145 CINEMATIC CHARACTERS who aren't better? I can list em. Ain't gonna and don't need to. There are 145 movie characters in the last ####### 25 years better than him let alone all time.
Sesame Street has more plot depth than that bro show.

zero chance there are 145 better movie characters than Ari Gold in the last 25 years. You really handcuffed yourself there homie by capping it at movies made post Q3 1987.

I could use another good time waster.
Bruh, people will remember Ledger's Joker long after Ari. Post 87? Kilmer's Holliday? Tommy DeVito? Jules from Pulp Fiction? Forrest ####### Gump? Tyler Durden? Kizer Soze? That's just getting warmed up.

although the acting is a key part of this conversation, I think some of the characters you mentioned, and ones that are out there, were great b/c of the acting job. But if you look at the character themselves, I wouldn't say they're needle moving dudes / chicks. know what I'm trying to say?
Like, Forrest Gump was a horrible character. Phenomenal, world class acting job...great story...all that was great, but he's horrible character. I'd argue Ledger's Joker as well, despite being one of my favorite bad guys.
Also, to meat least, there's fewer movie characters that can compete with solid TV show characters as you don't get to spend as much with em, so to say. I agree tho that Doc Holliday and Jules Winnfield were bad as>ses

for TV Al Bundy Latka Homer Simpson (well, he is a character, a cartoon character) plus Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, etc. Fonzie was strong back in the day Fred G Sanford (though Grady made that show)
If you go movies you open up a can of unlimited options: James Bond Dirty Harry pick your Star Wars guy Freddie Kruger Madea (lol kidding) Terminator
this hurts my brain, way too broad.
