No-pics but made a tex mex chicken taco thing last night...

grilled chicken breasts with a blackened spice rub then sliced them up and added them to a simmering pot of sauce comprised of rotel tomatoes, tomato sauce, sliced onions, sliced peppers and cumin and chili powder. Simmered it for a little while for flavors to mix and then ate it out of a bowl with beans and cheese like it was a cereal. Was ugly as hell but tasty.
Everyone else made chicken soft tacos. But I'm tryna limit the carbs.

But sounds good. I had the wife’s beef stroganoff. Not hamburger helper, but not far from it. Her’s is better though. (That apostrophe to show possession really bothers me.)
Gonna have some meatloaf with mashed taters and peas here in a little while.

But Red is out of town this week, so I had freedom to decide dinner for myself. The options were to go balls to the wall with pizza, wings, and beer OR cook a half decent meal I don't get to enjoy very often because Red doesn't like it.
So I went with grilled pork chops, baked potato, grilled asparagus, and wheat rolls. I threw in the bottle of Elmer T. Lee so I could post on my bourbon account for the likes. I do not like Elmer T. Lee and I think it is a trash bottle that I would never pay secondary prices for.
