Or will missing a bowl be what officially does that?

No, but he’ll will be like Bowden. Remembered for doing well and overstaying his welcome.

fans with comments like the "bandwagon " one, he'll keep heading in that direction. Those comments and the ones about how they haven't forgotten how to coach and there not stupid are just making him look bad right now.

He built it and kilt it. Too many developmental Clemson legacy hires. Too many feel good walk on schollies given out. Too many swinneys on scholarship. The tide has turned on him and Goodwin Riley Austin and grisham ain't moving the coaching/recruiting dial.

Not yet, but the decline is real and noticeable now. Next year will make or break him. Another weak to poor season and his legacy will be under scrutiny. No one expected this, but the struggles have continued this year. It is not just bad breaks, more about execution and plays every week. We see the same things over and over again. Dabo does not appear to have the answers right now.

Hard to not see the game passed him. Great run though.

I wouldn’t say he’s destroyed it but the tarnish on all those trophies is real. I’m hoping he can put the shine back on them but each game is destroying my confidence. Dabo said he takes full responsibility. He says it’s “freaky” things. But week after week nothing is changing on the field. The OL isn’t doing anything different and the offensive schemes remain vanilla. No innovation. Blaming fate, 1.5% fan base, mistakes, and rolling out cutesy euphemisms ain’t taking responsibility. Own it Dabo. What you’ve been doing these last few years changing the program with inexperienced former players ain’t cutting it. Keep recruiting well, hire proven coaches and get the blank out of their way. Be the CEO coach you used to be!!

His legacy will now just be regional. We will always remember the good years.
Now, nobody will remember him outside if the southeast 10 Years from now

Unless he gets rid of the dead weight on the staff, and brings in help from the portal, maybe so. He will be known has another successful coach that couldn’t adapt to a changing landscape. Even old man Saban isn’t to proud to admit he needs to mix it up from time to time.

Start over from scratch. This team would struggle in the sunbelt, despite having one of the highest blue chip ratios in the country. Completely unacceptable.

Not destroyed, likely never completely will. 2 NC's is a rare achievement. But he has certainly tarnished it. It's clear he is not going to adapt to the realities of college football (portal/NIL) and will mostly hire unqualified, buddy-buddy "yes men" coaches. Those two things will be (are?) his downfall. I predict he milks his contract and delivers a steady stream of mediocre results until Clay's playing days are over. This of course assumes Clay doesn't portal out sooner. lOL
