Im not law expert

But when Im seeing all these quotes from Hopkins saying to check the cameras and that he was gone on a early flight before this happened, and the only quote Ive seen for the Rutgers reciever (not even him, but his agent) was that "My client completely denies having anything to do with the hotel incident" One of them seems more like he's ready to prove this wasnt him, and one seems like he's trying to hide something

I'm no law expert either but doesn't it kinda sound like slander? If it is proven, and I think it will be, that Nuk had nothing to do with it.

Do not know the specific laws of the state that this occurred in. ESPN went back and changed the article to include Nuks side. This whole story just does not make sense. I wish that someone (a real reporter) could actually look into this and get to the bottom of it. If I were Nuks agent, I would hire a private investigator to find out what happened to try and save Nuks good name and his draft stock.

This is the type of "reporting" so prevalent today

throughout the media wherein the rush to "scoops" without complete investigation of all evidence is more important. Then, there are rewrites with additions, deletions, etc., with the problem being the public's tendency toward first impressions, which, in this case, imply that Nuk and/or his roommate were involved.
Therefore, I don't call these types of reporters journalists...I prefer the label "junkalists."

The only way this is getting settled is by finding out who's poo that is and there is a way, but they aren't going to spend the money/time to do it and it's probably too late.
This is really out in left field...but technically if that had any poop, it would have DNA on it (skin cells) and they could do a DNA match on the players. I'm 99.999% sure they won't/can't do that, but that's the only real way to find out who's poo it is.

Not to mention this quote
Apr 19, 2013, 8:31 AM
|
|
"I got done before Mark Harrison, so I was already packed. I already took a shower and packed and everything. Mark came in and we spoke for at least 20 minutes about the combine. Then the bellman came in and helped me get my bags out. And I left. That's, honestly, all I can say."
The bellman was in the room at the time. He SAW the room. No quote from him? How long was Harrison in the room before HE checked out?
