you gasps, groans, and growls on close misses arent adding to an already mediocre Fox broadcast. Its as bad as the grunts in a tennis match. Annoying

Agree that he is no additon at all. But he is right

that if Dustin says he didnt move the ball, he didnt move the move. He called the usga official over, the official made the right call. What happened after that was pure BS. What I am disappointed in Faxon and Azinger about is not that they said that, but that they wouldnt say it when the usgq dweeb was in the booth with the. Chicken sh$$, both of them. But their take on it is right.

Dustin Jonnson's word? Gimme a break.t

I agree that the rules of golf are predicated on an honor system, but sadly that is an antiquated notion. And Dustin Johnson is a perfect example. Dustin has no honor. The evidence is voluminous and readily available, so I won't post it all here.
Was there an earthquake? A sonic boom? Something made that ball move, and Dustin just went with "deny, deny, deny". He was innocent until proven guilty, but video doesn't lie. Fax on got it wrong!

weren't in their ears telling them to be quiet? Fox has too much invested in the USGA right now. They're not going to do or say anything that might screw it up. The Golf Channel on the other hand doesn't have that investment and ripped those guys a new one. Kudos to them.

I don't mind Faxon and I think Azinger is one of the best, but Holy Buck, Joe really stinks.

Watching a Fox golf broadcast is sheer torture.

But it was less tortuous than last year's Open.

unfortunately interviewing a dud like Johnson after the ceremony didn't help. I think Zinger is OK and adds something, but Faxon has about as much personality as Johnson....like none.... and in my opinion adds zero.

Hands down worst rule in sports

Should have been changed 100 years ago. It should be if you make contact with the ball or if you make an attempt to hit the ball then it is a stroke. 3-4 times a year we have this discussion about the wind or tiny earthquake moving the ball .001 mm and some guy catching it on his DVR in Florida. There have to be better ways to spend time. As for Faxon, just look at the guy, something is not right. Tell him to stop with the medical terminology or use it correctly. Didn't he get kicked off another broadcast? Furman says it all.
