Been looking for a shop table / work bench

Not really for wood working, just small projects and tool storage.
I found one on buddybook for $125 that looked perfect, sent message, "someone is on their way to look at it" so it musta sold.
In the pictures, realized it was some kind of kit.
Found kit: https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200631533_200631533Use the 2x4 Basics AnySize Workbench Kit to make a custom workbench to fit anywhere you need a work surface or a storage area. Simply add 2x4s and ...
Purchased kit
Anyone ever built one of deez? I don't assume there is any issue using pine for the frame, but I also don't know any better.

I don't see why pine would be an issue.

Based on the pics from the link it looks a little low for my tastes to be considered a worktop. But you could solve that probably by putting some blocking and/or casters on the bottom of each leg.

That's too short for a workbench. Pick a spot to put one, buy a good saw, drill and a few phillips bits, 5 lb box of 3" wood screws and a stack of 2"X6" 8' lumber and go to work building exactly what you want. Might want to buy a few 1/8" drill bits for pilot holes. Use a glass or pan of water for a level.

combo's.
You have the 5-6 drawer tool box on casters and the top is a wood table type with pegboard behind it.

Granted, I already had the Pocket hole jig which is kind of pricey, but a really handy tool to have if you do any sort of woodwork.
