after Purnell left. With that said, I don't think he would have left Witchta State. They probably devote more money towards basketball than we do...seriously.

growing up going to Winthrop basketball games this guy was a God-send for the school. Would love to see Marshall at the helm his teams were always very exciting and even if they didn't win would take the big boys down to the wire. This came from Winthrop a school that had never accomplished anything to a perennial NCAA team that was challenging 2-5 seeds and even took out Notre Dame in the big dance one year. He has SC ties being at Winthrop and is from the Radford, Va area originally so might eventually want to be closer to home.

He is originally from Greenwood....we are friends and have known him since....dad still lives here....he would have come here or his fav, suc, but his job now is a good one...better than either instate. But coming home would be intriguing....2 mil plus / yr. New facilities, and recruiting budget and staff could interest him.
