GREETINGs Tigers From Your Elderly RVing Vagabond!

Made it another chilly night in the small Camper Van while in Savannah (thx for sleeping bags!) while boon-docking (meaning free at a location that’s safe..like at a church, Walmart or Cracker Barrel parking lot).

Tomorrow it’s spending some coins ($31 net to seniors with year pass) to stay day/night at a local Georgia State Park named McAllister near Richmond Hills (named after Henry Ford who owned land & estate there and known as the “Rich Man”) on the Ogeechee River..

Where I can charge up the secondary lithium battery running a neat 12V fridge packed with various healthy foods..wash clothes..take hot shower & shave..get needed water for tank..dump waste..relax..ride bike..walk trails..use outdoor exercise machines..read or write..etc.

Can’t wait for real warm weather so to head to Hilton Head Island and Beaufort with 14’ Skiff with 15hp Tohatsu so to cruise the ICW and back creeks while wearing shorts, swimsuits & T’s rather than woolens and a heavy Navy P-Coat so not to freeze.

This boon-docking scenario almost full-time since early December has not been as pleasant & fun as hoped (as it was for the 2-5 days at a time in Spring-Summer-Fall) due to the terribly cold weather (20* temps and snow and rain) and cramped in the smallest Class B Camper Van (17’) of four I’ve previously owned.

But, traveling in this small size makes it so easy to park & move around stealth-like which my former Class A (32’ length) or my current 37’ long 5th-Wheel RV in storage made impossible.

OK Tigers..take care, be well and enjoy your life today while you enjoy your nice warm roomy home, your mate, your packed huge fridge, a high ceiling, a real potty and tub/shower, electricity on call and a comfy bed!

PS: Even though I have my books and mags and libraries and radio (no TV) to keep me company..know that checking in on y’all on the TigerNet FB & Political Boards via the internet has been a blessing since it makes this old Tiger Vagabond feel at home while out on the crooked trail of life’s last journey at age 83.9 but hey that’s young compared to our beloved late Joe21 who was driving and attending Clemson football games til 99!
