Fortunately, basketball games are only two quarters long, not three. Great first half game plan by CBB and staff, but NC State figured us out and the second quarter was a tie. If we had to play one more quarter, I’m afraid the result would have been very different.

They really should institute a run-rule in basketball and then we could have all gone home after the first.

I believe you need be careful how you express your Clemson education.
2 quarters not 3?
The second half was a tie.
If we had to play one more quarter..
So first off, men's basketball plays 2 halves. No quarters.
Secondly, second half tie does not mean NC State figured Clemson out. Because what was Clemson trying to do: Hold the lead? Run the clock? Double the lead?
Thirdly, don't you feel it bizarre that you have to find a gripe after a fantastic win?

although I’ve admittedly never watched a hockey tournament. I bet Lacrosse does something similar as well, but I’ve never watched that either.
