Tajh's incompletions

Sep 2, 2012, 2:05 AM

Tajh should have only had 4 incompletions tonight and no interceptions. Of those four, one was a throw to the sideline on a scramble, so he was pretty much throwing it away anyway, and another was broken up. He had an amazing game, and would have had incredible stats had we come up with a few catches. Not to mention his running tonight. I'm impressed. Here're his incompletions, the starred ones are the four that were on him:

1st Quarter
8:50 – Pass to Ford hit him in the hands, turned around before he caught it.
1:20 – *Pass over Brown’s head.
0:15 – *Pass broken up on the way to Cooper.

2nd Quarter
10:34 – Pass dropped by Bryant as he jumped unnecessarily on a deep throw, would have hit him in stride.
10:12 – Pass to Ford hit him in the numbers, dropped as he turned around before he caught it.
0:28 – Spiked to stop the clock.

3rd Quarter
11:57 – *Thrown a couple yards ahead of and on the ground in front of Brown on a 4 yard out.
6:48 – *Thrown a yard out from Ford on the sideline after scrambling out of the pocket.
4:50 – Pass dropped by Hopkins as he turned up the field before he caught it (could have been an easy TD if he beat the one guy he was trying to avoid when he dropped it).
4:44 – Pass dropped by Ford, hit him in hands ahead of two defenders.

4th Quarter
14:59 – Thrown behind Cooper, but in and out of his hands into the defender's for an INT.

Great points!

I thought he played great!I do think a couple of the drops can be blamed on nerves and not playing a lower level team. Ford dropped at least 3 but he made a great block on an important 3rd and 4. Go Tigers!

Oh man Ford blew that guy up on that block, I had forgotten about that. That was awesome.

Boyd played a solid game, he made good decisions and didn't force anything. The Int he had was not on him at all. Andre was defiantly the catalyst in the game

wide open receiver. Yeah, I know that he still managed to get his hands on it, but I don't buy the old BS that a receiver should catch any and every ball that he can touch with his hands - it's an absurd axiom. Tajh played a tremendous game, used his feet well, and was a great leader; but the pick was poorly thrown and was on him.
