Actually they scheduled an open date before Clemson, before UGA, and before Alabama.

Smart would be an open date INSTEAD of Clemson. UGA and Bama.
coots could play ONLY those 3 games, have everything else as open dates and they’d still lose all 3.........badly.

Usually the Sakerlina schedule is pretty easy for them. Not in 2019. They have TAMU replacing Arkansas as cross division rival, play Bama as well as UGA and Clemson. They have 4 losses right off the bat. They will be lucky to win 6 games even with 3 easy victories on the schedule.

At some point when CLEMSON has given them the thumb, the other thumb, and both big toes, then USUC will cancel their first 11 games and prepare for CLEMSON the entire year in hopes of finally beating their daddy.

They also schedule cupcake games before they play us. It gives them two weeks to prepare. It also was one of the biggest factors into the being able to win five in a row against us. The ACC caught on and did the same for us for a couple of years but got back away from it. The SEC was smart enough to give them this advantage. The ACC? Not so much but at this point it doesn’t seem to matter. We are just that much better than them right now.

It appears they did in fact schedule an open date before the Clemson and UGA games, but can we all agree they did not get smart? That my friends isn’t a likely scenario.
