They hired the best coach money can buy,gave him free reign to change any and all University policies toward,you know things like.... letting goons on the team who couldnt pour pee out a boot with the directions on the heel,,,Still No Titles, well,uh Acc 1869 was it? Still love those ##### dont they???LOL Clemson is COMING!!!

dabo can NOT be fired for losing for at least a few years, with the new 8 year contract and buy-out. so they are wasting their time talking about firing him.

Dabo is a great coach , and a really good person. His record and recruiting speak for themselves. Clemson is in great position under his leadership. What is he now , 43 ?
I think that Coots feel like the future is now , and Spurrier is 68 or whatever , with a drinking problem and some type of hip dysplasia ...the future for them going forward ammounts to how long that worn out ladies purse looking legend plans to stay sober enough to coach.
Bet he is done after they drop 4 or 5 this year.

I guess his wins over teams your legend cant beat mean that he can't ? Auburn and LSU own the Cootsack , not Dabo.

Actually, you can thank the entire Clemson nation.
First, for extending Tommy Bowden's contract.
Secondly, for forcing Bowden's resignation. (which led to a loss of a recruiting class that stuck with the program for 4 years)
Thirdly, for hiring a head coach with no head coaching experience...
Dabo's done an amazing job considering the situation he was put in IMO. He isn't there yet, but the Clemson football program has made great progress and he is no longer an inexperienced head coach with half a recruiting class holding him back.
