Gotta feel kinda bad for Hopkins.

He plays the game of his life and doesn't win the MVP. Boyd taking a beating and coming back time and again earned it, though.

It was close but because Boyd played so well that's one ....

FAT TAX NOW!

Has to get an honorable mention though.

Especially with Watkins out early and he instantly becomes the workhorse again. As always though he bears the extra load with grace and outperforms most expectations.

I actually think having Watkins gone helps him.

He knows he's the man, and the ball is coming to him. It's a different mindset. Like being the best basketball player on the court and knowing it. You don't debate with yourself if you should shoot or pass. You kinda enter that "This is all me" mode.

I agree, he does perform better when it's all on him.***

I would have loved to have seen a CO-MVP this time,......

ala Randy WHite-Harvey Martin super bowl, ,...but the fact that Tajh was still walking at the end of that game was a sight to behold, .Les Miles mentioned several times that he was suprised at Tajh's toughness and at his"heroics"....that he took a lot of "hard hits", all "legal" ....and the throws were in some very small windows, as coach swinney said....so congrats to Tajh
