Michael Bellamy (born October 16, 1991) is a former American football running back. He spent time in college with Fort Valley State. He played the Clemson Tigers football team in 2011, but was ruled academically ineligible for the 2012 fall semester.[1] He then enrolled at East Mississippi Community College, where he took part in off-season practice but was eventually dismissed for an undisclosed violation of team policy.[2] He subsequently enrolled at Eastern Arizona College, where he played for the 2012 season, before transferring to the historically black Fort Valley State.[3]
He attended Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, Florida, where he was named Sporting News High School Athlete of the Year in 2010.[4]
Professional career
On March 11, 2014 Bellamy signed a contract with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.[5] He was subsequently released May 9, 2014.[6]

His profile says Clemson, but I'm pretty sure he's living in Florida.
I'm also pretty sure he's old enough now to regret squandering his talent. He came in with Sammy and sees the money he's made. Weed, blonde coeds, or whatever combination of things got him off track probably don't seem worth what they cost him at this point.

Bellamy was a good talent, but, he would rather smoke his weed more than he liked playing FB at Clemson!!!

Was when I was in Charlotte for the ACCCG and walking downtown. The entire football team was walking out of the hotel. Apparently, a fire alarm went off, which caused an evacuation of the hotel while they determined the cause.
Rumor has it that Bellamy set off the fire alarm by smoking marijuana in his hotel room. This was discovered and he was on a bus back to Clemson that evening.
It seems like every 5 years or so, we'll have 1 guy that decides to play the starring role in a Cautionary Tale. That year, it was Mike Bellamy, and he should've been nominated for an Oscar for that stunning performance.
