When will SEC stop and admit...

That they are secretly cheering for Nick Saban and not their conference. How many of those consecutive titles were due to him? In between you have Tebow, and a Scam Newton. Auburn will lose which is fitting to see the BCS out the door. They are the luckiest team in cfb history, remember us having to re kick in OT the year they won it? Or when dyer rolled over Oregon player and they squeaked by with a player bought and paid for? Or uga/Bama this yr with a cornerback at QB?
Remember when Texas moved the ball up and down on Bama and then their QB got hurt and they got crushed having to use a freshman backup QB? Or when Bama got a rematch with LSU when LSU should've played ok st? Or when Bama played notre dame which half the sec or acc could've beat ND.
Yea, dominance. When auburn loses they'll say well Saban would've won. "Saban, Saban, Saban!"

You hang out with too many coots.

I've come across UA, UGA, Vandy, and Ole Miss fans and none of them boast of being in the SEC like the coots.
These guys hate each other and they expecially hate Bama. If nothing else I'd say they pull for anyone over another SEC team.
The board coots here have skewed your understanding. They are not a fair representation of the average SEC teams' fans.

Being in the SEC is all they've got, just like the coots.

Urban Meyer won 2, one with Chris Leake and one with Tebow. LSU won one. Bama 3 and Auburn went undefeated. Who else would deserve to play in their bcs championship over them? Rankings inflated or not, until a team knocks them out in one you can't deny it's earned. What would you think if it was a 4 team playoff this year and you had bama knock off FSU and auburn win and faced each other again for the natty? It's only gonna get worse IMO.

The polls have nothing to do with the selection of seeds.

What the helll makes you thing two SEC teams would be seeded with five qualifying conferences having champions?

Both those writers are erroneously making a playoff model out of the BCS poll. There will be only one poll that matters next year and it will be constructed by the selection committee.
This group is unbiased and are giving special consideration to conference champs and head to head matchups. There's only one way for the SEC to get two teams in the playoffs and no way for them to take more than two spots.
Three of the five automatic qualifying conference champs must have two losses. That's probable but it would have to coincide with the second for the committee to seed two SEC teams. One SEC team must be undefeated and ranked #1 in the polls and lose the conference championship game to the second ranked SEC team which has one or no losses. That's the only way two SEC teams are ranked one and two in the committee's poll. The #1 team looses to the #2 team and they trade places because the other conference champs have two losses.
These writers are ignorant of the playoff format and criteria for seeding or intentionally ignoring it for the sake of their ignorant readers. ESPiN has been making the same error throughout this entire season and fall under the same category. It's all space filling bullchit.
The BCS poll may be around but it will have no bearing on the committee's selection. The other polls go to helll along with the BCS. Good riddance to all.

facts and they are wrong? Read that again. Bama caught a big break, it's hard to find a year they didn't in some way get a huge break. Tebow did play at uf when they had Leake .
And as far as can't deny it's earned, Bama didn't win their own division and won BCS title. Boo.

at what 2 mediocre teams from the big 12 have accomplished in 2 seasons. Win over Bama , freshman won heisman, mizzou won sec eadt(won their division twice EVER before). I'm sorry the coots and espin have turned many to house sec homers.

I can guarantee you that will not come out of anyone's mouth. It doesn't even make sense. Saban is not even in the conversation about the national title.
