all time Tiger great and 12 year Seattle Seahawk. Along with The Judge, Jeff Davis, my all time favorite Tiger. Played every position on the DL so can't really call him a DE only.

Apparently lives in Atlanta and drives his motor home to the games. Was going to do the same to Az.

college level is extreme or you haven't been watching college ball for too long a time.
I'm a Tiger through and through but in all fairness you must not have ever seen Peter Boulware when he played for FSU - man was terrific back in Bobby Bowden's glory days with them.

Clowney was "great" when Devin Taylor was on the other edge. Gaines Adams & Vic Beasley both were better overall FOOTBALL PLAYERS than the Clown will ever be

Maybe it's because

of the freshness of coming off of this past season, but I immediately thought of Shaq and Dodd.
We aren't talking about perhaps the most talented. We are talking "favorite.
So, choosing between the two is like choosing between a filet mignon (which I love) and a shellfish platter (which I also love). Impossible!
I love Shaq for his leadership, heart, energy, personality, and, of course, talent.
And, I love Dodd because of his hunger, resilience, persistence, heart, dedication, humility, and, of course, talent.
Their stats this past season are very similar. Their production was like a symphony. When Shaq got injured, Dodd kicked it up even more to be that leader.
I loved Adams, Beasley, Bowers, and others. They were so very special. But I can's help but attribute to both Shaq and Dodd the credit for helping carry our team on the defensive side through this special year.

Patrick Sapp was a good one. I gotta go with Vic just because of how ripped and intimidating he looked.

Gaines Adams. There are a few I can think of, but I keep coming back to Gaines. He could destroy an offensive game plan on his own. And the Wake FG block/return just kind of iced his cake. RIP big guy - always a Tiger!

ran power sweeps. This meant that several blockers and a big ball carrier ran down hill at the defensive end. We had a guy named Ronnie Duckworth who made all ACC two years stopping these sweeps. He was first of four brothers to play at Clemson.
