Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Nov 1, 2021, 7:58 AM

Friday night, went over to some friends' house for dinner, stayed way too late to need to get going for the game Saturday.

Saturday, much to my surprise all parties actaully got moving when I wanted and we arrived to pick up same friends from Friday to take them to Clemson for their first Clemson experience. We arrived before anybody was directing traffic. I count that as a win every time. Tailgate was amazing with the RH clan and a surprise visit from wilki. Game was one that would have been fun 10 years ago and we all know it. Does not change the season though.

Sunday, saved a snake's life and purchased a stand to help with the stages of our all grain brewing.

Friday: Since we didn't go to Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights this year, we didn't get to play our Pirate's Cove putt-putt. So we went to Frankies and played some putt-putt.

Saturday: Played disc golf in the morning, got stung by a wasp in the leg, hurt like hell but finished round, picked up cake and Rise biscuits. Brought krzywife cake and Rise for her 40th birthday. Watched Clemson strugglebus against an awful FSU, left during that to go to the in-laws where we had a birthday dinner.

Sunday: Worked around the house, got some candy and minibottles. Only had about 20 trick or treaters, but the adults liked the minibottles.

Monday: My right foot and ankle are still incredibly swollen from that wasp, literally have a single cankle. But only working in the morning and headed to a charity golf tourney this afternoon...hoping my foot doesn't hurt too much.

Halloween was lit. There were at least 10 houses with adult beverages/jello shots to make it bearable. My dog is afraid of inflatable chicken suits.

Leisurely dinner Fri nite, getting stuff ready for GameDay. Best tailgate of the season with a great crowd showing up, awesome Fox Bros ribs and SP pork. 2 tailgates around us had small bands playing which always draws a lot of Eye Candy, many of whom dressed as if it was gonna be 80F and sunny all day. Nice!
Paid visit to The Silos on Sunday afternoon. That’s gonna be a popular place..

Oh yeah, we didn’t lose!

Pretty darn good weekend.

Nov 1, 2021, 8:20 AM

Friday, over to RH Mom's to fix supper after logging out of work. Then running short on time so grabbed a regular size sandwich at Jersey Mike's for NINE MOTHRAFREAKING DOLLARS, then home to grab bass for LOUD electric Halloween full band jam with special guests. It was loud, disorganized, out of tune, not everybody on the same page with songs, and a lot more intoxicants than normal...but still had a blast. Good seeing a few guys that I hadn't in a while in spite of the fact they most likely had not picked up instruments since the last electric jam back around the first of the year, LOL.

Saturday, up and out the door to Clemson. Great tailgate with aerozeptallica, SharkGirl, and willki®, Willmo® came by at the half, and Shorty stopped by after the game. Bonus hilarity from aero-pals drunken Bulgarian chick, drunken Canadian guy, and super-mega-blitzed out of his mind drunk Indian guy. It was truly a multicultural melting pot of alcohol abuse, and I'm proud our tailgate was able to sponsor this beautiful moment. Won't waste words on the game, just take the win and move on. Back to RH to relieve the sitter and put mom to bed. Back home for nightcap and watch the first half of the UVA-BYU pinball game. Those two generated more offense in a half than we have all season.

Sunday, coffee, check on Mom, grocery run, back home to watch the last 10 minute of Panties and walk the pup, and then married my tiredass to the Big Chair for the rest of the night. Dave Chapelle on Netflix, a couple episodes of The Blacklist, Walking Deads, crashed. Didn't even check the Atlantards score because I don't care enough to even watch in spite of being a World Series.

18.98/19 Covids.

Absolutely fantastic

Nov 1, 2021, 8:25 AM

I made it back to Clemson for the first time since before COVID/baby. #### it was good to be back.

Friday: snuck out of work early. Got stuck in ATL traffic. I can't think of a city I dislike more. Got to SC around dinnertime and had dinner with friends in Anderson. Then stayed up til midnight with other friends catching up. A.

Saturday: Up early. Coffee at FreeHand Coffee in Pendleton. I highly recommend. Hit up Elkmont trading and some stores downtown for Clemson shirts for the boy and myself. I'm such an easy mark when it comes to Clemson gear and always buy too much. Wings and beer at Backstreets. TTT. Study Hall. Tailgated with some friends. I'm officially to the age where 3:30 games are ideal. Great seats for the game. It was fitting we honored Tommy Bowden because our team has a distinctly 06-07ish feel. I've gotten used to Clemson games being blowouts or heavyweight fights. This was a vintage slapfight between two very flawed teams. But it was entertaining and, most importantly, we won. Smokin Pig after the game. Brews on the Square was hosting karaoke, so we went back to my friends' for a drink. A+.

Sunday: slept in somewhat and hit the road after some Bojangles. Their Cajun Filet Biscuit has gone downhill. Breezed through ATL. Saw family in Georgia briefly. I got home in time to make a grocery run and hand out candy. Dinner was homemade deep dish pizza with a sourdough crust. Not too shabby. A+.

Overall: Solid A+.

Saturday was football game. Whole crew this time. Forgot parking pass. Special thanks to Ms. Connie and Jason Wilson for saving our butts. There is a way to get in if you forget your pass. Ugly win but a win is a win is a win. Halloween was a mad house. Had the entire family over, cousins and all, and there were hundreds trickertreating. Kids made a haul, need bigger buckets next year. BIL brought his mule and we drank and muled while kids went around. Bourbon was the favorite of the evening. Had some pizzas delivered. Kids had a blast. Bought mom's groceries, etc. Sunday am. Wife did our grocery run. Learned ice is now expensive. Lowe's Foods has good chicken fingers. Boiled peanut man upgraded in Ware Place, good peanuts this time. Last dude sucked.

About it.

football. Brother and friend from Ohio were in town and I didn't even have to buy the Bojangles.
Sunday had a nice little hike and took in some leaf-changing. Shut off porch light in time to ensure no trick or treaters.

PS - LOL at everyone who got tweaked by Dabo's 'Top 5' comment. The man is prone to hyperbole.

Nov 1, 2021, 8:31 AM

Left out to Asheville with the wife to see Mr. William S. Strings, Esquire play Friday and Saturday night. Twas awesome.

Drank some beers at Burial and ate dinner at Red Ginger (which sux, btw) before the show. After the show, we couldn't get an uber and our phones were dying. Footed it back across the river to our hotel. Lots of interstate crossings on foot and underpass, dark and hobo filled corridors. Wife was crying. I was carrying a big skull-crusher rock. Not an idea situation. Our buttholes stayed intact, though.

Day two we dropped $130 at Tuppelo Honey for Brunch. Shopped at Mast General, went into all the headshops around town, drank at Dssolvr and Wicked Weed. Joined the Yacht Club and drank some more there. Ate dinner at the Bier Garden and watched 2nd half of the Clemson game. Return to the hotel on night 2 was much more organized.

Woke up and drove home Sunday AM. Dinner at wife's grandma's house. Football practice for son. Trick or Treating. Daughter was a blood covered convict and son was Bob Ross. They had fun.

Re: Good morning everyone how was your weekend?

Nov 1, 2021, 8:47 AM

Friday: had to work late so didn't leave Gangland until after 6:00. Dinner at Puerto Nuevo Mexican. The fajitas were very good and the Modelos were cold and tasty. The barmaid dressed up as Ariel was awesome!

Saturday: arrived at tailgate around 10:00. Son of and DIL arrive soon afterwards. Had a few cold ones and a few snacks. Headed to Esso around noon. Got a table inside thanks to ms midland after about 15 minutes. Went to the game and had a blast. Ran into some old frat brothers. After the game hung around for awhile until the traffic died down. The car a couple of spots away had a flagpole and when the wife backed the car up, it fell on a truck nearby. Smashed the window and put a good size dent on the window frame. Drunk folks discussing who was at fault was classic.

Sunday: got back to Gangland around 1:00 because I needed to work a little. After working for about an hour ms midland then informed me that she had left her diamond ring and Clemson ring back at the hotel. Hotel had the before mentioned rings so we did a quick trip back to Anderson to retrieve said rings. Got back to Gangland around 8:00. Said "F" it and just went to bed.

9/10: would have been a 10/10 but did I mention I spent 7.5 hours in the car yesterday and never left the state. Being married sometimes is so awesome!

Not bad. Friday was late but ok

Nov 1, 2021, 8:47 AM

Saturday: Errands all day. Trick or treating with the kids. Hayride with the kids too. Got home super late.

Sunday: Up early to go to work.

I like your funny words magic man

Was pretty decent.

Nov 1, 2021, 8:54 AM

Friday: quick trunk or treat, then wife took kids to Disney on Ice, and I managed to avoid it for like the 7th year in a row, go ME. Went over to some frans' house to porchdrink and throw some bags and darts and watch some sportsball, home by 1am.

Saturday: sluggish af, toyed with idea of watching FSU game with people, decided couch was way more appealing, watched from there. Finally cracked something with alcohol in it around halftime, and that powered us to the win, you're welcome, Clemson nation. Ate half a gummy and vegged with some late evening sportsball.

Sunday: that gummy, and my previous week's lack of sleep, put me down for a solid 9 hours. Wifey and I had plans to meet a couple at Daps for some brunch and the canned mimosas these guys have been talking up for a few weeks. Woke up on the couch at 10:30am, supposed to meet them at 11, half hour away. Texted them real quicklike and asked for some leeway, which they obliged. Crushed some brunch and mimosas, wandered over to Edmund's Oast for a few afternoon libations, and then home for trick or treating. Wife called a last second audible and we left our hood to go trick or treat with some frans and their kids.

Monday: kids ended up being aholes this morning, all of them. Supposed to take them to the fair with some other frans and kids this afternoon, but they'll be even BIGGER aholes tomorrow morning if we do. Buncha ungrateful turds.

Pretty allright

Nov 1, 2021, 9:14 AM

Fri - parent teacher conference. Kid is doing great, no worries there. Ran one billion errands, but glad to get a bunch of stuff done. Out to eat with fam.

Sat - played golf with my son (19 years old). Asked him to get me a beer from the cooler and “get yourself one if you want.”

“Yeah, I think I might.”

Was pretty cool having first beer together. Dad moment. Shot 80 I think, but did make a birdie and an eagle so that’s always fun. Watch Tigers pull victory from the jaws of defeat. Frands house for Halloween party.

Sun - thought I had all of the erranding out of the way, but nope. Got a few more things done, downtown for Halloween pregame beers. Trick or treating with 6 y.o. End up at brothers house and watch Braves lose.

Overall, a solid eagle weekend with a couple bogies thrown in for Clemson struggles and Braves loss. Hope they somehow manage to wrap it up tomorrow night.

got some ###### work related news late Friday. don't wanna get into the details but a solid $300-$500k just got ripped out of my pocket. so I proceeded to get pretty drunk Friday. Braves won though

saturday was meh - we are terrible. Braves won though.

sunday - hung up lighting fixtures, went to neighbors to halloween. dressed baby up as an avocado. serviced trick or treaters while watching the Bravos blow it.

trying to figure out how to salvage this ####. pretty ###### up when someone ##### you over and you can't go all RH Tig on em.

1 more win

Nov 1, 2021, 10:15 AM

and music city bowl we go! Great day Saturday pulling out a win and seeing RH Tig and willki® at halftime.

Sunday Halloween show with Billy Strings was awesome. Played Goodbye Yellow brick Road as a second encore along with balloons dropping from the ceiling and confetti. Quite appropriate.

Good covers of Dead classics Samson and Delilah and Brokedown Palace.

Nov 1, 2021, 10:21 AM

Friday: Taco leftovers and got laid.

Saturday: Went to get the little one some new shoes and stopped at an outdoor furniture store. Chelsea won 3-0, State won, Clemson won, no complaints. Sushi for dinner.

Sunday: early morning round of pickleball. Spent a few hours in the yard cleaning up some overgrown #### I inherited. First time trick-or-treating with the little one. Almost every house was giving out boo(ze) so I inherited a few cans to take home. Found out my house used to be the party house on the block. Derby parties every year apparently. One boomer lady said she almost broke her neck the year the previous owner had a bounce house. Went and grabbed Cook Out while Red held down the fort.

Spectacularly Spectacular

Nov 1, 2021, 10:58 AM

Friday - went to make up basketball practice with son, then it was local pizza take out. Watched some TV with wife and went to bed.

Saturday - got up at o'dark :30, rode out to East Lansing with a bunch of friends. Tailgated, kegs/mimosas/eggs/sausage/pancakes/hashbrowns. Everyone went into the game, 4 of us left and came back to watch on TV. Got back and everyone and I mean EVERYONE, kids, adults, all ended up at my house. Watched football all day and did a practice run for my Halloween costume. I went with the inflatable Porky Pig, which was a hit. Then grilled some chicken, drank a couple more beers. Later on I decided to make fun of Crulez and made him cry...that was fun.

Sunday - up early for football practice and then game. We ended up playing two games and was out on the field for like 3 hours. It was a ton of fun. Lounged around and watched football, played board games. Then time for trick or treating. In Laws came over for burgers. Weather was perfect!

Welp, the Tigers won but I didn't die.

Nov 1, 2021, 5:51 PM

A little late to the par-tay today....

Friday...Chilled and watched some beisbol.

Sattidy...Preety much the sam but with some pisspoor football mixed in. Go Barves!

Sunday. What a friggin day. Drove to Chucktown to visit kid of and went to a huge event at Revelry Brewing. The TALENT LEVEL THERE WAS OVER THE TOP (Sadly, I bengalined the ningas, took a bunch of pics but no real good shots)...Good fun. One chick came as Flo from Progressive. Thought is was the real one. Took kid of and boyfriend to Salt Water Cowboys for dinner.

Monday - Hit Viscous Biscuit for break fast. Cruised home incredibly full.

9.99/10 (18.99/19 on the RH Covid scale). Deductions for more crappy offense and tackling on top of your self instead of the ground. Plus points for covering the spread.

Extra 5X points for the talent at Revelry Brewing. Mebbe more.
