Will require us to beat a lot of good teams. Why do we worry about which order they are in? The majority of the teams in the tournament are really good so just keep having fun, playing loose, and enjoy DKS as the backdrop. And if you are local, get your buts in a seat and get loud for these boys!

Id also add even if you can't get a ticket to the game, still go out and tailgate or go to Esso/downtown. I hope the scene in Tigertown is awesome for not only this weekend, but the SUPERS as well!

Because many of the Velcro new balance wearing crowd seek validation based on how far we advance. They would rather we play a weak sauce schedule and advance to the CWS than play the best to test our team. They don’t realize we only print t-shirts for a natty.

It's problematic if they randomly ignore seeding for one

or two teams and only every so often. If seeding was always random... then it would be fine, I guess. But they have a pattern, and then sometimes break it in a few examples with no clear justification.
It would be better for the committee to be consistent. Don't put the best #2 seeds with the first 4 seeds if you rarely ever do that. If they did it all the time then who cares... it would just be normal.

Yeah, because losing in regional is the same going to CWS and not winning it all. Lots of schools put the number of times they made the CWS on their outfield wall. Making it to the CWS is an accomplishment in itself.
So you think losing in first round of the NIT is the same as making the NCAA Sweet Sixteen? How far you advance means nothing?

Well, if we do make it, I have a project going on now between Omaha and Lincoln, so I will definitely be at our games. I drive right by Charles Schwab Field on my way back to the airport every two weeks ..... beautiful ballpark.

We'll be at DKS this weekend. I hope it is full of Tiger fans. We have season tickets and were guaranteed those seats for this weekend. However, if we are lucky enough to get a super regional, we will probably be demoted to the out field. They have to guarantee the visiting teams a certain number of tickets. I don't know why that isn't the case this weekend, but I'm glad to have my usual seats for this one. Go Tigers!
