Is seems a strange coincidence that, when an SEC team

plays an equally talented Power 5 team ...
The Power 5 teams' star player always gets injured during the game
Exhibit A ... Texas QB vs Bama Exhibit B ... Ohio State WR vs UGAG
PS ... that was the definition of targeting.

In what world is Texas as equally as talented as Alabama?
As for the UGA hit on Harrison, it was shoulder to shoulder. It was hard and put him out of the game but it was legal.

I watched the replay. I also listened to the on-field official and the official piping in with the tv commentators. Of course, it's possible the Pac 12 officiating crew is also in on the global conspiracy to cheat for the SEC.

I mean the officials who actually reviewed the play and the former official who chimes in with KH and CF. What does KH's pay have to do with it? (Pretty sure I know where you're going with this and it should entertaining.)

That's what all the official's saw and determined it wasn't targeting.

That's the problem with the targeting rule. Too inconsistent with their definition of it. Changes one game to another.

According to official rule. Any forcible hit to neck/ head area is targeting so therefore contrary to what officials said they were obviously wrong . That was targeting plain and simple.

Doesn't look like targeting to me.

Agreed on no targeting. Is it unfortunate the play resulted in injury? Of course. If a clemson player makes that hit we’re all talking about how it’s a season saving play and not a target

Seems any hard hit, particularly by a DB, now draws a flag.

Exactly and we moan and groan all year how they shouldn’t be flags. Now it’s complaining about no flag because a hit was too hard.

Tua has 2 concussions this year and wasn’t targeted. MHJr’s concussion likely came from the whiplash caused by the hit, not contact to the head.

Alabama tried to kill DW; he just refused to be hurt.

No doubt, despite his recent off-the-field issues, DW4 created this modern era of success for Tiger football. No DW4, no TL16.

The definition of targeting was what that TCU defender did to the Michigan player at the end of the game that got reviewed and still not called…

SEC officials wanted to keep TCU ahead. Lots of other suspect calls in the Meechigan game.
